Frusciante Earns Financial Forensics Accreditation

GREENSBORO, NC – March 23, 2009 – Greensboro-based public accounting firm Breslow Starling, one of the Triad region’s leading accounting and business consulting firms, has announced that Yvette M. Frusciante has been awarded the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential as administered by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

The CFF credential combines specialized forensic accounting expertise with the core knowledge and skills that make CPAs among the most trusted business advisers. The CFF encompasses fundamental and specialized forensic accounting skills that CPA practitioners apply in a variety of service areas, including bankruptcy and insolvency; computer forensics; economic damages; family law; fraud investigations; litigation support; stakeholder disputes and valuations.

To qualify, a CPA must be an AICPA member in good standing, have at least five years of experience in practicing accounting, and meet stringent requirements in relevant business experience and continuing professional education.  CPAs who have earned the CFF Credential must be recertified every three years to maintain their credential.

A resident of Kernersville, NC and native of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Ms. Frusciante holds both Bachelor and Masters degrees in Accounting from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro,as well as her CPA license in North Carolina. 

She has over 15 years of experience in public accounting with a variety of firms, and has concentrated in forensic accounting and litigation support since joining Breslow Starling in 2003.  She works with both small and large client organizations in the healthcare, wholesale, transportation,manufacturing, construction and professional services arenas, handling forensic investigations in multiple industries.  She is an active member of both the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and Professional Women of Winston-Salem.
