Pinnix Earns CPA Certification

GREENSBORO, NC – September 29,2009 – John Pinnix, a staff accountant with Greensboro-based public accounting firm Breslow Starling, has been awarded his certified public accountant accreditation by the North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accountant Examiners.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is the statutory title of qualified accountants in the United States who have passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination and have met additional state education and experience requirements for certification as a CPA.

John joined Breslow Starling in early 2008 after more than a decade of prior experience in the hospitality industry.  A resident of Greensboro, NC, he holds a B.S.degree in Finance from UNC-Greensboro and a Certification in Accounting from Guilford College.  He is an active member of the AICPA, the North Carolina Association of CPAs, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
