GREENSBORO, NC – June 8, 2009– Greensboro-based public accounting firm Breslow Starling, one of the Triad region’s leading accounting and business consulting firms, has announced that Elizabeth “Beth” Bailey and Herman Goins have graduated with full accreditation from The Rainmaker Academy’s client service and leadership development program.

Offered only to accounting and financial-consulting professionals, The Rainmaker Academy is an intensive two year leadership-development, sales and marketing program designed to help rising professionals attain advanced client service and sales tools and capabilities.  Graduates are noted industry-wide for their enhanced client retention acumen, cross-selling skills and leadership savvy.  The program is open only to a limited number of firm managers and partners nationwide.

A resident of Winston-Salem, NC and native of Bluefield, WV, Ms. Bailey holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University.  In addition to her CPA license, she is a Certified Valuation Analyst.  She has over 20 years of combined experience in public accounting with a Big Four accounting firm and with Breslow Starling, which she joined in 1991.  She works with both small and large client organizations in the manufacturing, construction, real estate, golf course, and professional services arenas.  She is an active member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). 

A native of Madison, NC and resident of Greensboro, Mr. Goins holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Wake Forest University, as well as a North Carolina CPA license.  Prior to joining Breslow Starling in 2005, he worked with First Union / Wachovia as a Tax Manager.  He works with clients primarily in the entertainment, restaurant, manufacturing, transportation, and professional services arenas.  He is a member of both the North Carolina Association of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
